Coincidentally, Valencia's club logo is eerily similar to that of the trademark Batman image, and it has featured on their club crests since 1919.

DC have registered a complaint with the European Union Office, for 'violation' of rights, and have stated that the logo should be 'exclusive' to their organization.

But things may not be so easy at all for DC, since Valencia have used the logo, long before Batman came into existence (in 1939), and the comic moguls will require a miracle if they are to win their battle against the La Liga high-fliers.

It will be interesting to see as to how this ongoing dispute between both parties pans out, and whether Valencia do manage to shrug off DC and Batman, and protect their club heritage.
