MUMBAI: Outgoing Indian coach Greg Chappell and his wife Judy are scheduled to leave on Saturday night for Singapore after having postponed their departure by a day as the former Australian captain became indisposed.

Chappell's wish not to renew his contract as coach for personal reasons was on Friday accepted by the Cricket Board at its World Cup review committee meeting attended by its office bearers, the Australian, skipper Rahul Dravid, tour manager Sanjay Jagdale and selection panel chief Dilip Vengsarkar.

The BCCI, however, has offered him the post of director or consultant at its Bangalore-based National Cricket Academy and Chapell has been given a month to make up his mind on it.

"Chapell is leaving tonight," said a Cricket Board source who added that the Australian may be given even two months to decide on the board's offer.
