The Uruguay international is enjoying a superb campaign and was named player of the month after setting a new record with ten goals in December.

Suarez missed the opening five Premier League matches of the season as he served the remaining half of a 10-match ban for biting Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic in April.

The Liverpool ace was also banned for eight matches during the 2011/12 campaign after being found guilty of racially abusing Manchester United's Patrice Evra, the Daily Star reports.

He said he is improving his attitude on the pitch because he knows he was wrong in the past.

Suarez said he needs to control his temperament, attitude, desire and hunger when he is on the pitch.
