Jayasuriya, who attended Wednesday's practice session to boost the confidence of his country's players, said the Indian team is doing well as a batting unit.

"They have been a confident side. I have seen most of them are playing well," he said.

Meanwhile, Sri Lankan skipper Angelo Mathews exuded confidence about his team's performance and emerging victorious in the semi-final against India.

He said that his batsmen were in good form and could score a century on any given day.

"I think we have got seven really good batsmen, who can really score a 100 on any day. I think we had to fight really fight really hard in the last three games. Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayewardene have been brilliant. (Tillakaratne) Dilshan and (Lahiru) Thirimanne were brilliant. Their presence was absolutely crucial in the last game. So, hopefully the batting will click once again," said Mathews.

India has defeated South Africa, West Indies and Pakistan in the tournament.

England has already booked its place in the final after bowling out the South African team for 175 in 38.4 overs and scoring the required runs for the loss of three wickets in Wednesday's first semifinal.

The Champions Trophy is the second biggest one-day tournament, played between all Test-playing nations, the first being the World Cup.

The final is slated to be played on June 23.
