Though six of their players were representing the school for the first time in a competitive match, Gracias still proved to be the dominant side.

With no offside taken into consideration for the fourth division match, the schools had plenty of chances to take a shot at the goalpost.

Gracias’ right outer Siddhant Kapse was the first one to score. In the latter half, Gracias’ tripled their lead with a goal each from Sachin Lokhande and Swarup Das. Gracias, who are currently being coached by their ex-student Mohsin Khan, managed to keep a clean sheet and won the game 3-0.

Mohsin, who has just completed his 10th standard, started coaching as there was no football coach in the school. Lokhande said, “He coaches us with the right techniques and motivates us to win. We have started playing with better co-ordination and that was one the reasons why we won today. In spite of having only 10 players in their team, IA proved to be a tough opponent.”
