Blackpool forward Dudley Junior “D.J.” Campbell was arrested, and later released on bail, in connection with the stabbing of a man outside the Crescent Club in West Kensington, London, in January.“On April 22, a 28-year-old man was arrested in Blackpool in connection with a stabbing at a nightclub on Northend Road, W14,” The Daily Express quoted a Metropolitan Police spokesman, as saying. “The incident is alleged to have occurred on January 10. He was taken to a west London police station and later bailed to return pending further inquiries,” he added.The victim, in his 20s, was stabbed in the side during a mass brawl involving up to 30 people outside the club.He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and released shortly afterwards.
