Topping the agenda will be finalising the dates and venues for the upcoming five-match ODI series against Sri Lanka, which is likely to begin from November 2.

The Sri Lankans agreed to BCCI's request after the Windies decided to pull out due to payment issues with the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB). However, the most important topic of discussion will be whether the Indian board will take action against the WICB. The board suffered huge losses -- approximately Rs400 crore ($65million) -- due to the pull out. West Indies had another ODI, one T20 International and three Tests to play.

"We have suffered huge losses due to the decision of the West Indies to pull out of the tour. We are going to claim all the damages and pursue the matter with ICC," BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel had said after the pull out.

There have been talks that BCCI may claim damages from the WICB. But looking at the current financial status of the WICB, it is unlikely that the Indians will sue them immediately.

However, it is likely that the Indians will severe ties with the WICB and may abandon their next visit to the West Indies in 2016 (for a four-Test series). According to the ICC's Future Tours & Fixtures programme, India are supposed to make four visits to the Caribbean islands over the next eight years.

Before the working committee meets, the governing council of the Indian Premier League will also sit together to discuss the issue of West Indies players' participation in future editions of the league.
