DOHA: India opened its account at the 15th Asian Games with a bronze medal in the men's 10 m air rifle team event on Saturday.

The team comprising Gagan Narang, P T Raghunath and Navnath Faratade tallied 1776 points to finish a point behind silver medallist South Korea at the Lusail shooting ranges.

Hot favourites China expectedly bagged the gold by firing 1786 after the end of individual qualification rounds which decides the winner of the team event.

The individual final will be held later in the day.
