Arsene Wenger is all set to sign a new two-year contract at Arsenal and continue his 21-year reign at the Emirates.

If reports are to be believed, Wenger and Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke met on Monday, where the two of them put a seal on the Frenchman's future. A board meeting was scheduled on Tuesday, where the decision was passed on to the directors of the club.

It was feared that scenes at the board meeting might turn ugly, as opinions regarding Wenger remained divided at the North London Club. 

Arsenal might make an official announcement on Wednesday. 

Arsenal finished fifth on the table, 18 points behind champions Chelsea, but beat the Blues 2-1 to win the FA Cup at Wembley on Saturday.
