Ravichandran Ashwin may have climbed Mt. Everest in the year that passed by, bagged two ICC awards and finished on top of Test bowlers and all-rounders' rankings but former Indian spinner Erapalli Prasanna urged the premier off-break bowler to give the ball more air. While acknowledging that Ashwin is currently the best bowler in the world, Prasanna had said, "Unless and until he makes the batsmen step out and drive it will be a little difficult for him. In the back of his mind he has got a leg break which he thinks is very effective. "But watching him, the batsmen will easily know that he is going to bowl that delivery. From his action you can easily find out that he is going to bowl that one."

When tagged on Twitter by a news organisation which had done a story on Prasanna's suggestion to Ashwin, the Tamil Nadu lad replied, "@cricketnext ok" and accompanied it with a sign of 'namaskar'. Now it doesn't need any rocket science to gauge what the offie actually meant by the gesture.
