Here is the latest update on the draw for Round 2 of the 2018 World Cup Qualifiers which was held at Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday.

India have been drawn in Group D and will have to face Iran, Oman, Turkmenistan and Guam, in their quest for further qualification.Prior to the draw, the teams were divided into eight groups with five teams per group. India were in Pot 3. India were drawn in Pot 3 which had Afghanistan, Palestine, Philippines, Maldives, Tajikistan, Thailand, Lebanon.

Here are the respective final groups for Round 2.

GROUP A - UAE, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Timor-Leste, Malaysia.

GROUP B - Australia, Jordan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Bangladesh.

GROUP C - China, Qatar, Maldives, Bhutan, Hong Kong.

GROUP D - Iran, Oman, India, Turkmenistan, Guam.

GROUP E - Japan, Syria, Afghanistan, Singapore, Cambodia.

GROUP F - Iraq, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Chinese Taipei.

GROUP G - South Korea, Kuwait, Lebanon, Myanmar, Laos.

Group H - Uzbekistan, Bahrain, Phillipines, North Korea, Yemen. 

Eight group winners and four best second-placed teams will advance to the Final World Cup Qualifying Round. They will also qualify directly for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup. The schedule for the rounds will be between June 2015 and March 2016.
