Premier Futsal 2016: Crespo's Kolkata 5s beats Ronaldinho's Goa 4-2
The second match of the league.
There was none of the old Ronaldinho magic as Hernan Crespo's team ran out winners on the opening day of the Premier Futsal League. The team from Kolkata took a 2-0 lead and though Goa made it 2-1 and then 3-2 it wasn't enough to overcome Crespo's team. The league is off to an amazing start.
With Giggs' Mumbai emerging victorious in the first match against Falcao's Kolkata. The crowd are already going berserk seeing the talented Brazilian and it's true that no one quite dominated Joga Bonito (The Beautiful Game) quite like him.

Goal (Goa 2-4 Kolkata)
An embarrassing own goal for Goa gives Kolkata its two goal margin back.
This Rafael is a real livewire. He just ran the entire length of the pitch, pulled off a couple of step-overs before firing wide.
10 minutes to go. Can Goa come back?
What would be absolutely fascinating is to see how a manager like Mourinho treat a game like this? How would he shut up shop in a futsal game?
Goal (Santos)Score
Kolkata 3-2 Goa
Will we Ronnie back on the pitch? A strong header from Rafael but the keeper was up for it. But then Santos scored from a well worked move to make it 3-2. Ronaldinho gleamed from the touchline and the match is all open again.
Goal
Crespo makes it 3-1 He still has that ability to put the ball in the net.
Q3
Rafael makes it 2-1. Ronnie is on the bench now recovering and he looked rather pleased about that goal.
It's fair to say that we've not seen the best of Ronaldinho yet but the tournament is long.
And the second quarter stars now. Ronaldinho's team are two goals down. Does this tournament remind anyone of that epic Cantona cage ad with the song a little less conversation?
Damn just writing the commentary is making me breathless. How hard is it to play futsal? Anyway Ronaldinho's Goa is 2-0 down with the second being scored by Muhammad Islam who became the first Indian goalscorer of the league.
Goal
Kolkata are in front within 5 minutes. A brilliant reaction goal that was.
And it's a goal again.
2-0 to Kolkata. Give us a moment to breathe guys.
It's time. And the fan can't wait to see Ronadinho play!
