India’s campaign at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires ended with 13 medals (three gold medals, nine silvers and one bronze).

This is India's best medal haul at the Summer Youth Olympic Games. India had won 8 medals in 2010 and 2 in 2014.

Jeremy Lalrinnunga became the first-ever Indian gold medallist at the Youth Olympics in boys’ 62 kg weightlifting category. 16-year-old Manu Bhaker won the girls' 10 metre air pistol gold. Her fellow shooter Saurabh Chaudhary won the 10 metre air pistol in the boys catergory.

India won four (2 gold, 2 silver) medals in shooting, one gold medal in wrestling, two silver medals in hockey, one silver and one bronze in athletics and one silver medal each in archery, badminton, wrestling and judo at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics Games 2018. Indian players also won three medals in mixed events.

A contingent of 68 members from India, including 46 athletes, was in Argentina to compete in 13 sports during the prestigious event. This was India's largest ever contingent at the Youth Olympics.
