PV Sindhu, Geeta Phogat and Saina Nehwal turned showstoppers for different designers at the fashion week.

India's top female sports stars ruled the ramp at the at Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2019. PV Sindhu, Geeta Phogat and Saina Nehwal all turned showstoppers for different designers at the fashion week.

Badminton star PV Sindhu was a perfect mixture of sporty and glamorous as she walked down the ramp for in white dress and gladiator sneakers for footwear brand Misfit Panda’s. Geeta Phogat made her debut on the ramp designer Rina Singh’s label Eka. She wore a collared kurta with floral motifs, teamed with colourful striped pyjamas, folded up to the ankles. Saina Nehwal looking perfect in her lehenga-choli as she walked for designer Vaani Raghupathy’s label, Magnoliaa.

Indian badminton player Saina Nehwal showcased a creation by designer Vaani Ragupathy at the Lakmé Fashion Week (LFW) Summer Resort 2019.

Dressed in a yellow lehenga-choli, Saina looked gorgeous. The lehenga had golden motifs, the choli golden embroidery work, a sheer golden dupatta, and a jeweled choker completed her look.

Sindhu walked for footwear brand Misfit Panda’s in a plain white dress. Her look was glammed up with sneakers from their new collection, The Secret Garden.

Wrestler Geeta Phogat walked the ramp personifying the show’s theme of being beautifully strong. Geeta was dressed in a collared kurta with floral motifs, teamed with colourful striped pajamas, folded up to the ankles and wearing jootis and shoes.
