Simone Biles, the US gymnastics GOAT and 2016 Olympics champion was destined to win gold in Tokyo but was forced withdrew due to medical reasons.
American gymnastics sensation Simone Biles withdrew from the Team Final event at Tokyo Olympics reportedly due to a medical condition. Biles, a 4-time Olympic gold medallist from Rio, had a lacklustre vault performance to open her day before she was replaced for her concluding routines. Biles is reportedly suffering from an unspecified "medical issue".
Here’s a glimpse of Simone Biles’ unprecedented achievements in the sport, records, and past Olympic glory – and the reason why she is regarded as the most dominant gymnast of all time.

At just 24, Simone Biles has 30 World Championship and Olympic medals combined, making her the most decorated American gymnast of all time.

At 2016 Rio Olympics, Biles won individual 4 gold medals (3 individual and 1 team) and one bronze medal.

She created history just months ago becoming the first woman gymnast to perform a physics-defying Yurchenko Double Pike vault in a competition.
5. Biles has ADHD since childhood

Her fitness will now be assessed daily to see if she’d be able to continue with the other Olympics events in which Biles was set to participate.
