Liverpool 4-0 Barcelona- Best reactions on Twitter after UEFA Champions League semifinal second leg match.
Liverpool produced one of the greatest comebacks in Champions League history to beat Barcelona 4-0 on Tuesday, overturning a three-goal first-leg deficit and advancing to their second successive final with a 4-3 aggregate victory.
Two goals each from stand-in forward Divock Origi and halftime substitute Georginio Wijnaldum left Lionel Messi and Barcelona utterly shell-shocked by a Liverpool performance full of passion, belief and determination.
Juergen Klopp's side will play the winner of Wednesday's other semi-final between Ajax Amsterdam and Tottenham Hotspur, with the Dutch side leading 1-0 from the first-leg in London.
The result, which looked unlikely at the start of the match, produced some incredible reactions from players, managers and fans alike.
"Unbelievable," said Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson. The same exact word was used by his teammated Georginio Wijnaldum who scored twice in space of two minutes for his side.
“The whole game was too much. It was overwhelming," said Jurgen Klopp.
Liverpool fans on Twitter went berserk hailing their team's incredible performance. Many of them remembered 'that night in Istanbul' as LFC produced another stunning comeback.
1. The miracle of Anfield
Many fans compared this victory to the great 'miracle of Istanbul'. In 2005, Liverpool were trailing 3-0 against AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League final match in Istanbul. However, they came back to make it 3-3 and then went to win the title in penalty shootout. It is considered not only the greatest comeback in Liverpool history but in Champions League history.
The win against Barcelona not only made many fans think of Istanbul, but even UEFA was thinking the same.

Not cried for a long time! Only thought Istanbul would happen once. I can only apologise for not 100% believing from the start. #LFC

This Liverpool comeback is as great the Istanbul final in 2005. Without their best legs (Salah and Firmino) and coming up against arguably the greatest player ever holding a 3-0 lead.

The miracle of Anfield.
Oh my god this will be bigger than Istanbul

Just arrived in from training. My husband leaps up & shouts “they’ve scored 3 goals!!!” Similar scenario, same conversation, it’s 2005 again!!!

I’ve literally lost my head jumping round like a headless chicken taking me back to 2005!

2. Liverpool fans celebrate
Liverpool become only the third team in the history of the European Cup or Champions League to come from three goals down after the first leg of a semi-final and progress after Panathinaikos in 1970-71 and Barcelona themselves in 1985-86.
Greatest night ever at Anfield! #LIVBAR @ChampionsLeague

4. Watch Liverpool's 4th goal (with Titanic music)
Barcelona fans' hope sank as Liverpool grabbed an extraordinary fourth goal with a quickly-taken corner from Alexander-Arnold, catching the Barca defence asleep with a low ball that was turned in at the near post by Origi.
While the goal in itself was enough to make any Liverpool happy, it is even better with Titanic music. Some fan put this on Twitter and soon it became viral.
