KKR Skipper Gautam Gambhir won the toss and elected to bowl first against Mahendra Singh Dhoni's CSK.

Dwayne Smith opened the batting for CSK against KKR's Patrick Cummings.

Andre Rusell was the pick of the bowlers for KKR as the big West Indian picked up 2 wickets for 26 runs.

Manish Pandey tried attacking the Chennai bowling attack, but fell well short in the end scoring just 15 runs off 20 balls.

Dwayne Bravo was inspirational for the Men in Yellow, as the flambouyant West Indian picked up 3 wickets for 22 runs and was excellent in the field, picking up a stunning catch. He helped the Chennai outfit to restrict the defending champions to a total of 132 runs, as Chennai moved to the top of the table with their narrow 2 run win.
