RR struck early against CSK, as Ankit Sharma took the wicket of CSK's Dwayne Smith. 

CSK found the going tough in the beginning, as they found themselves at 15/2 in the second over after Raina was dismissed by RR's Chris Morris.

Brendon McCullum came to the rescue for CSK as he smashed 81 runs off 61 balls, to help the stuttering CSK batting line up. 

MS Dhoni and Dwayne Bravo saw the innings through for CSK, as the two played cameo roles of 13 and 15 respectively, to help CSK post a total of 157/5 at the end of 20 overs.

CSK began their bowling attack well as they scalped the important wicket of RR's Ajinkya Rahane.

Ravindra Jadeja was the pick of the bowlers for CSK, as his bowling figures of 4 wickets for just 11 runs at the end of his 4 overs helped his team secure the win over RR.

CSK's incredible bowling performance saw them restrict RR to a total of 145/9 at the end of 20 overs, in a crucial top of the table clash.
