The defending champions Puneri Paltan kicked off their title defence with a win against the Telugu Titans on June 25, but failed to keep up their upward momentum upon facing the Patna Pirates. While the teams like U Mumba, Bengaluru Bull and Bengal Warriors put their grit to test going up against each other, the League games in 2016 saw quite a few celebrities enjoying the matches.
Jaipur Pink Panthers, one of the teams in the league, owned by the superstar Abhishek Bachchan, probably ushered in stars like Shah Rukh Khan, cricketer Virat Kohli, Ranbir Singh and Amitabh Bachchan, to name a few.
