Lasith Malinga's four-wicket did all the diference as SRH failed to match the mounting run-rate.
Despite Shikhar Dhawan's fine 42, Malinga's heroics ensured that they crash to a 20-run defeat.

Welcome to LIVE Coverage of Match 23 of IPL 8 which has beleagured Mumbai Indians facing resurgent Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Wankhede Stadium.
Here is the Match Preview of the game which begins on 16:00 IST.
The Rohit Sharma led side lost their previous game against Delhi Daredevils which has all but left their qualification chances on a knife's edge.
MI have been woeful in the tournament so far and are struggling with both bat and ball.
Of course the win over RCB has long been forgotten thanks to the loss against DD which has all but shed water on momentum for MI.
SRH on the other hand have had a see-saw tournament so far which they will aim to end soon.
The close win over KKR surely has done enough to push momentum back for the David Warner led side, with the skipper himself playing a stellar knock in that encounter.
The David Warner-Shikhar Dhawan opening partnership will be key for SRH if they are to deliver the knock-out blow to struggling MI.
Meanwhile, Dale Steyn surprisingly has looked out of sorts for SRH and the Proteas speed-gun needs to up the ante if SRH are to win this one comprehensively.
While it remains to be seen as to whether SRH will clinch this one against faltering MI, still the orange army are clear favourites to win the contest given current form.
