1) Nelson Valdez (Paraguay) v/s Argentina:-

Being 2-0 down to heavyweights Argentina, Paraguay needed some inspiration to get back into the game. And that's exactly what Valdez did. Instead of opting to give a through ball to a fellow team mate, he attempted a superb dipping effort from almost 20 yards out of the box. Argentina keeper, Sergio Romero had no clue and was left dumbstruck. Much to their and Argentina's surprise, they went on to score the equaliser. The match ended as a 2-2 draw.

2) Lucas Barrios (Paraguay) v/s Argentina :-

The same game, Paraguay had the last chance to snatch a point from the game. They received a free kick from almost the half line in the 90' minute. After a initial header aimed towards Barrios, the forward hit an amazing half-volley, through 4 players and into the back of the net. Argentina were left stunned after conceding in extra time.

3) Martin Smedberg (Bolivia) v/s Ecuador :-

The Bolivians were one of the two invitees to the Copa America. But they stole the show after a 3-2 win over counterparts, Ecuador. Going 3-0 up in the first half itself, they later conceded two goals in the second. But this wonder goal from outside the box, directed them to a well deserved victory.

4) Miller Bolanos (Ecuador) v/s Bolivia :-

Again a goal from the same encounter. Ecuador got one back through Enner Valencia. But this goal from Bolanos gave them hope of getting back into the game. Sadly it was late enough and Ecuador couldn't manage the equaliser, but this amazing dipper from Bolanos from 25 yards-out was a moment to watch.

5) Edgar Benitez (Paraguay) v/s Jamiaca :-

As they say, "Luck favours the brave". That's what happened with Paraguay on their way to the semi-final. In their Group Stage encounter with invited nation, Jamaica, a bot of luck also played his part. Rather than explaining what happened, just have a look at this amazingly lucky goal! And yes, Paraguay won the match by this lone goal.

6) Gary Medel (Chile) v/s Bolivia :-

The host nation ran riot against the visitors, when the defeated Bolivia 5-0. One of the goal was this beauty by Gary Medel. He started of the move after which, a couple of passes and a brilliant 'chip-volley' were to follow. Look at his run and movement on the pitch in this goal. Simply brilliant!

7) Paulo Guerrero (Peru) v/s Bolivia :-

A stellar performance from the 31-year old, propelled Peru into the semi-final against Chile. The forward hit a brilliant hat-trick, to make sure his team advance. All three goals were good, which included a header and two cool finishes.

Most surprisingly, most of these goals came from the lesser known players. So Copa America does bring out talent to the world.
