Asian Games 2018, Day 14 Highlight: India win bronze in hockey, gold medals in boxing and bridge

That ends India's Asian Games campaign. It is India's most successful Asiad in terms of medals won, and joint best in terms of gold medals won.

India are likely to finish in the eighth spot in the medal's tally with their best ever tally of 69 medals with 15 gold, 24 silver and 30 bronze medals.

India cap off the Asian Games 2018 with a medal even if it's not the one they wanted. India did well to hold off the relentless pressure from Pakistan in the bronze medal match. 

India – despite the bronze – would go home disappointed having missed a direct qualification for the Olympics.

Good start to the day for Indian judo athletes. The team of Vijay Kumar Yadav, Harshdeep Singh Brar, Kalpana Devi, Garima Choudhary, and Rajwinder Kaur combined to defeat their opponents from Nepal 4-1 in a Round of 16 match.

The Indian team will shortly face Kazakhstan in the quarter-final.
