Asian Games 2018, Day 10: India better their previous best day this Asiad, clinch 9 medals
Here are live updates from Day 10 of the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta-Palembang.
It was a Super Sunday when Team India had won seven medals. However, they bettered that on Tuesday as they ended the day with as many as nine medals, including a gold, six silver and two bronze medals.
There were a few heartbreaks too in the otherwise quite a great day for the Indian athletes. Due to a false start in the 200m semi-final heat, Hima Das got disqualified and which is why Dutee Chand will be the only Indian in the women's 200m final on Wednesday.

ALERT: Athletics Federation of India (AFI) has confirmed that an appeal has been lodged over the mixed relay result, reportedly for Hima Das being obstructed by Bahrain's runner in the handover.
All smiles in Jakarta as they become a part of the Asian Games history. It was the inaugural 4x400m mixed relay race and India bagged silver there!
