Services will benefit passengers and us too
Share-an-auto-rickshaw (SAR) services will benefit passengers as they think that we always refuse to take them short distances.

Even we can make more money if we have to travel a short distance. There are some areas that have already started the share-an-auto service. Some passengers who don’t prefer to use the service will keep asking us to take them wherever they want to. However people often refuse to tender exact change, so they too need to change certain habits.

We shouldn’t be forced to ply short distances
I don’t know if many people are willing to take shared autos. People should be co-operative for this. However, we should not be forced to ply to places that we don’t want to go to. This service should be applied in the entire western suburbs too. Outside railway stations, most people want to travel to the same location so it will help them to reach their destinations faster Shared autos are common in some suburbs, so this concept will be beneficial. It’s important the service benefits both passengers and us.

SAR services will cover other places too within a month, hopefully
We have been demanding share-an-auto-rickshaw (SAR) services for very long. This is a very good move by the government.
It will benefit both commuters and auto-rickshaws. For a single passenger, such services will prove to be cheaper as well as convenient.
It will certainly reduce traffic on the roads too.
Moreover, there will be more auto-rickshaws available on the roads for other commuters who need to travel by metered auto-rickshaws.
The traffic will also be reduced after such initiatives.
But the government is taking too much time in starting auto stands and identifying locations.
SAR services are required all over Mumbai, especially in suburban areas. Hopefully, the government will complete the survey to identify locations for SAR services in a month, so such services can start all over Mumbai.
