Firstly, WhatsApp has introduced five new filters - pop, black and white, cool, chrome and film – which can be applied to a photo, video or gif before it is sent. The company is expected to introduce new filters in the future.

Now, when you receive multiple photos from the same sender in a row, they will be grouped together as an album. In the past, if you would send multiple photos, they would appear in an endless stream in your chat, placed below each other. With the new feature, all photos are automatically, more organized, and are placed in a single album. Users will just need to tap on the album and see all photos and videos in full screen.

Lastly, with the new reply shortcut, users can simply swipe right in any message to quickly reply to it, which pops up to the bottom of the chat window where you can reply to the message. This can be very useful for group chats.
