Facebook is down and Twitter can't keep calm
Twitter had a laugh as users were unable to log onto Facebook and Instagram.
The world was thrown into darkness after Facebook went down on Saturday night (Indian Standard Time) with users unable to access the site.
Users got a message that the website was undergoing maintenance. Down Detector reported a large spike in users being unable to access Facebook after 7:30 PM IST. Users were unable to comment or even use Facebook messenger.
According to UK site Express, one Facebook user posted a message online saying they'd been faced with a message that reads: "Facebook Will Be Back Soon.Thanks for your patience as we improve the site."
