After a week of thorough market analysis and consulting various subject faculties, the VIIT-EDC team assembled an all-inclusive start-up kit, one would require before joining the engineering bandwagon.Start-up incharge Vrushal Kapadnis said, “The cumulative rates are comparatively lower than regular stationary stores, and the kit is made flexible to add or remove items, as per requirement. A kit is usually delivered to a student in college, within 24 hours after the order have been placed.”

In its first week of availability, Preyas Chandak, President of VIIT-EDC informed that the kit being convenient and cost effective solution, has received a healthy response from students. “Now we are planning to provide first hand and second hand books of faculty recommended publications at lower than street prices,” he said.  VIIT-EDC plans to expand SFC gradually, and reach out to students from various colleges across the city (VIIT) have started a Student Facilitation Centre (SFC), an innovative on-campus start-up.
