City hosp to waive off charges for 5 children selected during the camp
If you know a child who needs expensive cardiac surgery and his parents cannot afford the same, here’s a piece of news that can help them.
Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital (ABMH), through its Helping Hands initiative, is setting up a health camp that aims to sponsor free cardiac surgery to children from the poorer economic strata. The surgeries would be jointly performed by UK-based renowned cardiologist Dr Simone Speggiorin, congenital cardiothoracic surgeon from UK’s Glenfield Hospital along with Dr Sameer Chauta, consultant cardiothoracic surgeon at ABMH between July 1 and July 7.
To identify children that can avail of this benefit, the hospital has organised camps between June 20 and June 28 at the hospital, wherein initial heart checkups would be conducted and registrations would be accepted. The hospital has also promised special fee waiver for other surgeries performed during the same period.
For registrations, the hospital can be contacted on 9881123098.
