The NGO will install more than 100 night reflectors in the side lane. They have also got the green signal for 196 additional CCTV cameras for highway traffic police. Other plans are LED screens at food malls and petrol pumps which will display messages about driving safe on E-way.

Tanmay Pendse (29), a businessman and Fulora’s project director for Safety on E-way, said, “Most of the time people are unable to figure out the police help post at night. With solar lights people will be able to identify the police help post. We will also install electronic number boards that will display the helpline numbers. Next week we will plant more than 10,000 trees along the highway. This will work as fencing and prevent two-wheelers from entering the E-way,” Pendse added.
