Criticising NCP for its double standards, BJP state unit president Devendra Fadanavis on Saturday said that BJP never made a farce of signature campaign on revised Development Plan draft permitting four FSI for the Metro project.
While speaking to media persons at after inaugurating Nat Lab of the Janakalyan Blood Bank, Fadanavis said, “None of the BJP corporators have given any supplementary to the revised DP which was against the public interest.”
He added, “BJP had been consistent on its stance on DP and it never had any double standards on passing the DP first and carrying out a signature campaign afterwords. It is interesting to note that NCP has carried out signature campaign against the revised DP despite the fact that Congress and NCP are the ruling alliance which has passed the revised DP with majority.”
