Pune: City of Pune could face more water cuts with group leaders of various parties in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) deciding to review water cuts decision if it does not rain till July 10. The PMC would review the decision after waiting till July 10 in this regard.The scanty rainfall and depleting water levels in Khadakwasla irrigation system has left it with 0.77 TMC of water. Khadakwasla system has four dams of Khadakwasla, Panshet, Varasgaon and Temghar, which provide drinking water to the city of Pune.PMC has water cuts in some parts of city, by supplying water once a day. After the meeting of group leaders of various parties, city Mayor Chanchala Kodre informed, "We would review this water cut taking in to account situation on July 10."
