Pune: If you own a bicycle and you are unable to get it serviced then here is some good news for you, as Bums on the Saddle, is conducting cycle servicing camp where your cycle will be serviced free of cost. On the busy roads of Pune, one can still hear reminiscences of what was once Maharashtra’s cycle city. Cyclists lament that as the economic prospects of the city grew, so did the number of two-wheelers and cars.

As on date Pune city have 1.50 lakhs cyclist, despite the fact that city has 126-km-long cycle tracks on 16 different routes, 90 per cent of these tracks hardly see any bicycle due to various reasons, however, experts claim that initiative like free check up camp will certainly make some impact in the society and motivate people to peddle their way to office, college and back to their home.

The company Bums on the Saddle which is organising the free check up on Sunday to check screwdrivers Allen keys, Lubricant, Tyre pressure (SALT).
Suraj Swamy manager of the outlet said,”Our aim is to make people aware about the small little things that can be managed by them. Most of the time people do not know how to carry out the maintenance of their cycle. We want to get the cycle in shape for people free of cost.”
Swamy added,”The common problem that the cycles have are chains are not maintained, brake pads gets faded and gears do not work properly. How to keep a check and maintain tyre pressure regularly.”
