Actor Usha Naik plays a different kind of mother in 'Ek Hazarachi Note'

Q: What is your role in the movie and why did you opt for it?A: I love taking on new and different roles. In this film, I play 'Buddhi' who doesn't have any family members or a house but still enjoys life to the fullest. She faces all her difficulties but never stops having fun. One day, she gets a 1000 rupee note and how she deals with such a big event in her life, is what the movie is about. 

Q: How different is it playing a reel life mother and being a mother in real life?A: They are very different. In the movie, I play a mother figure to my neighbour, who is a son with a wife and children. I have to put on so much makeup to look that old and had to do a lot of preparation for my role. Real life is easier. I have a son who is studying mechanical engineering so I don't have to go through all the struggles Buddhi goes through. 

Q: What message would you like to all the mothers and women out there?A: There are problems in every household be it rich or poor. Every woman has to deal with the difficult times but the women should remember not to get bogged down with their problems but should learn to move on. I too, had a lot of struggle, but I always managed to stay happy. They should live happily, is what I would like to tell all the women.
