A mark of respect to autorickshaw drivers

Taking the message of mutual respect, Suyog Mitra Mandal has come up with a special theme this time. Their theme asks citizens to respect autorickshaw drivers as they are part of the society.

Stating that they are always available for public, mandal members appealed to people to be a little understanding towards them.

The mandal also felicitated Chandu Godbole, father of martyr Sushant Godbole, who died for the country in Kargil while diffusing a landmine. Another automan Noor Mahmood Pervez, who helped the police nab killers of General Arun Kumar Vaidhya, Satish Godbole who returned 25 kilogram gold to a passenger and Vilas Patil who helps poor children for studies were felicitated.

“The police should not reveal the identity of auto drivers helping them as it may put them at risk,” said Pervez, speaking at the event.
