The world of dabba services is also quite kind to women. A couple of days ago, one of our reporters poke to a students group that has started a dabba service for hostelites. The students used to run a mess earlier and while discussing the rates, they said, the monthly charges were Rs1,500 for boys and Rs 1,300 for girls.
Women really have it good, sometimes. Go on dates, the man pays. Education is cheaper for the fairer sex, as is clothing. Apparently, the world of dabba services is also quite kind to women.
A couple of days ago, one of our reporters poke to a students group that has started a dabba service for hostelites. The students used to run a mess earlier and while discussing the rates, they said, the monthly charges were Rs1,500 for boys and Rs 1,300 for girls.
Puzzled about the difference in rates, the reporter quizzed them about it and pat came the reply, “Girls eat lesser than boys. The quantity that three girls consume in a meal equals to that of two boys.” So, cheaper dabbas for the girls. Hey, knowing all that women have to bear with otherwise, we think such advantages are only fair.
