While many corporators are already demanding demerger of Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) for the amount of loss that the transport body is incurring, PMPML administration itself justified their demands when they presented the statistics.
According to the statistics, of the total 357 routes PMPML operates, 320 routes are running in losses.
The information was given by the PMPML administration to the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) in a general body meeting held on Friday. A query in this regard was filed by Congress corporator Vijaya Wadkar.
