India Nuclear Energy 2012 - the Premier Exhibition and Networking Event for the Civil Nuclear Energy Sector in India - is Taking Place From the 25th to 27th September 2012

Buyers and suppliers of nuclear power plant equipment, technology and know-how will congregate at the Bombay Convention and Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, for the fourth edition of India Nuclear Energy. This is the only international exhibition and networking event in India for the rapidly growing civil nuclear energy sector.

With 20 nuclear reactors in six power plants generating approximately 4780 MW of electricity, India is fast emerging as a significant player in the international nuclear power scene. Keeping this in mind, India Nuclear Energy 2012 will focus on bringing together know-how, resources, global nuclear skills and experience, which together will combine to add a new dimension to the seven nuclear power projects under construction.

India Nuclear Energy 2012 is co-organized by the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) and supported by the Indian Nuclear Society (INS), both premier government agencies, working to promote the advancement of nuclear power and research in nuclear science and technology.

The exhibition will showcase leading manufacturers of reactors, reactor coolants and moderator systems, turbine generators, digital control and data acquisition systems along with service companies engaged in solid, liquid and gaseous waste management, etc. from across the globe.

The event will have co-located conferences - India Nuclear Energy Summit 2012 (25^th September 2012); Indo-French Conference (26^th September 2012); Radiation in Healthcare Summit 2012 (27^th September 2012) and the Indo-UK Seminar (27^th September 2012).

In an attempt to present the other positive applications of nuclear energy and radiation, UBM India will also present the premier event on Radiation in Healthcare 2012, co-located with India Nuclear Energy 2012.

Radiation in Healthcare 2012 will showcase exhibitors presenting radiation-based equipments and services which are used for therapy and diagnosis in medical sciences. Radiation in Healthcare 2012 is supported by key associations, including the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), the Board of Radiation and Isotope Technology (BRIT), the Society of Nuclear Medicine - India (SNMI), the Association of Medical Physicists of India (AMPI) and the Indian Association of Radiation Protection (IARP).

The events will be co-located at the Bombay Convention and Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, from 25-27 September 2012.
