HONG KONG, Dec. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- L'Atelier De Joel Robuchon in Hong Kong is Asia's third best restaurant, according to The Miele Guide 2011/2012. For the past four years, Chef Joel Robuchon's contemporary concept in The Landmark maintains its stronghold as the top restaurant in Hong Kong and Macau. Macau's Robuchon a Galera follows closely, placing fourth in Asia's Top 20 and second in Hong Kong and Macau's Top 5.

The contemporary French restaurant Caprice comes in third in the country's Top 5 and leaps from tenth place to fifth place in this edition's Asia's Top 20. Claiming the fourth position in Hong Kong and Macau's Top 5 is Bo Innovation, Chef Alvin Leung's modern Chinese restaurant which also places ninth in Asia's Top 20.

8 1/2 Otto e Mezzo Bombana makes a strong debut in the country's Top 5 and a remarkable 13th place in Asia's Top 20. Chef Umberto Bombana also clinches the inaugural Chef of Chefs award, an award recognizing the chef in Asia who serves as a figure of inspiration for his peers.
