Fujitsu's Nina Lutjens and Pam Doyle Recognized by CRN as Top 2013 Women of the Channel
SUNNYVALE, Calif., June 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc., the market leader in document imaging scanners, is proud to announce that Nina Lutjens, senior vice president of sales, and Pam Doyle, director of education, have been recognized by CRN as top 2013 Women of the Channel, an annual award that spotlights those who epitomize success within the IT channel. Additionally, Lutjens has been recognized as one of this year's Power 100.
CRN's annual Women of the Channel list highlights female executives across vendor channel organizations, distributors and solution providers based on their accomplishments over the past year, and the far-reaching impact they are having on the technology industry going forward. The Power 100 recognizes an elite subset of executives based on their rank, influence, channel savvy, and exceptional achievements.
Lutjens, who brings over 25 years of channel experience to her current role, has been acknowledged as one of the top Women of the Channel for three consecutive years and was named as a 2013 Channel Chief by CRN. In her role at Fujitsu, she has focused on creating strong channel programs and alliances for the Imaging Products Group.
'"I am thrilled to receive this honor and am proud to be a part of our channel business," said Lutjens. "This year we worked to grow our program by streamlining our distribution and partner channels and continuing to keep a diverse portfolio of resellers and ISV partners in major markets, including government, healthcare and finance. The result of our efforts is continued customer loyalty, which is rewarding in and of itself."
Doyle, who has been in her current role with Fujitsu for 17 years, has been contributing to the channel for over 35 years. This past year, Doyle leveraged educational venues, conferences, articles and social media to communicate the relevance of new trends – including mobile, cloud and big data – to Fujitsu's channel partners.
"Throughout the year, we had numerous opportunities to train channel partners in both the AIIM Capture and Enterprise Content Management certificate programs, which not only helps to develop a more knowledgeable channel but also establishes partners' value so they can grow their businesses," said Doyle, who also holds leadership positions in various organizations in the information management industry. "I feel very fortunate to hold these positions and to be recognized by CRN, and I'm looking forward to continuing to help carve out strategies for the future of our industry."
The Women of the Channel represent a growing trend in the channel to empower women to succeed in what was once a male-dominated industry. This year's executives were chosen by the editors of CRN based on their achievements and influence in the technology channel. The Power 100 were chosen by CRN Magazine editors from a pool of online applicants and nominations.
"We honor and congratulate this list of influential women who are dedicated to supporting the mission of the channel," said Robert Faletra, CEO, UBM Tech Channel. "For years, we have identified and celebrated the women who have made an indelible mark on the technology industry through unmatched innovation and razor focus on meeting the needs of the IT channel community."
A special feature of the Women of the Channel will be included in the June issue of CRN Magazine and can be found online at: www.crn.com.
