Announcing Winners for the First Ever Cloud Computing Awards in India

UBM India recently announced the winners of Cloud Advantage Awards during the award ceremony at Cloud Connect India 2013, which took place in Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel.

The award ceremony was inaugurated by Chief Guest - Shri Rajesh Aggarwal, IT Secretary, Government of Maharashtra. This unique initiative by UBM India Pvt. Ltd., the organizers of Cloud Connect India, is a first ever award ceremony recognizing cloud implementations in India.

The first edition of the annual Cloud Advantage Awards honored the best implementations in cloud computing across industries in India. Only user organizations (large, media and small) were eligible to apply for these awards.

"The case studies nominated by the winners show range and the quality of cloud implementations in India across industries," said Brian Pereira, Conference Chair - Cloud Connect India. The winners were selected by a jury comprising of Sharad Sanghi, MD and CEO, Netmagic Solutions; LS Subramanian, President, NISE; Dr. Nilay Yajnik - Professor and Chairman - Information Systems Area at Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) and Brian Pereira, Conference Chair - Cloud Connect India.
