PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: Farmers likely to receive Rs 4,000 quarterly? Know details, steps to apply, last date

We have good news for farmers! Several reports have stated that under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, instead of Rs 2000 being deposited into the farmers' account quarterly, Rs 4000 will be deposited going forward. 

However, if you are a farmer and have still not registered yourself under the PM Kisan Scheme then the last date for you to register is on September 30. After you apply and your application is accepted, you will get Rs 2000 into your bank account by October or November and another installment of Rs 2000 in December.

Reports state that the Central government, under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM KISAN), is planning to double the amount that the farmers receive. If this does happen, farmers will receive  Rs 12,000 in 3 installments rather than the previously received Rs 6000 each year. 

So far, 12.14 crore farmer families have profited from the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM KISAN) scheme.

Step 1: Visit the official website of PM Kisan - https://pmkisan.gov.in/. 

Step 2: Now look for 'Farmer’s Corner Section' on the homepage.

Step 3: Now select 'New Farmer Registration' 

Step 4: Enter your Aadhaar details. 

Step 5: Accurately enter the captcha code and then click submit to get to the next page of the form.

Step 6: Fill in your appropriate details 

Step 7: Fill in information related to the farm and bank account details 

Step 8: Submit the form.
