Your first pay cheque?

I earned my first pay cheque when I was 17 years old. I had worked for a summer job with a company called Neeraj's Multimedia Studios.

Your most expensive purchase to date?

My most expensive purchase to date would be my home which I bought at 19. It has been a very lucky and wise investment.

Who manages your money?

I manage my money myself. I also have a financial advisor, an agency that manages my investments and, of course, my chartered accountant's company that has worked with me for 19 years now.

Your advice about money?

The best advice about money I received was from my father, and I live by it even today - "Pay your taxes and sleep well at night."

Your money mistake?

I think the only money mistake one makes is not planning for expenses and also pulling out from investments due to a fear that the market is crashing. I think what holds in good stead is to trust and believe in the instruments one has invested in, hold out and just ride the wave.

The next big purchase you are planning?

I would like to invest in a property that I can cultivate and turn into a completely sustainable living eco-space.
