Gold Price today remained steady with 10 grams of 22-carat gold at Rs 46,000 and 10 grams of 24-carat gold priced is Rs 47,000. The stable gold price is good for gold buyers as the wedding season across India is on resulting in an increase in demand for the yellow metal. 

However, the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has an effect on the demand for gold.

Gold price in Delhi has been seeing some momentum, since the start of the year. This is because, equity markets took a beating at the start of the year, which pushed investors to invest in a safe-haven asset like gold.

The precious metal may not be a favorite in the last few years, as prices have moved in a tight range. A fall in equity prices at the start of the year saw some attraction to gold as an investment.
