LPG price hike: Commercial cooking gas cylinders will now cost Rs 1,769 in national capital Delhi with effect from today.

The price of commercial LPG cylinders saw a hike by Rs 25/ per cylinder on Sunday, The hike now means that 19 kg commercial cooking gas cylinders will now cost Rs 1,769 in Delhi. The price rise will be effective from today. The prices of domestic LPG cylinders remain unchanged.
While the fresh hike will not impact household kitchens, eating out will get costlier in the coming days as restaurants and hotels pay more for cooking gas.
LPG rates after latest price hike in big cities:
Delhi: Rs 1768 per cylinder
Chennai: Rs 1917 per cylinder
Mumbai: Rs 1721 per cylinder
Kolkata: Rs 1870 per cylinder
Domestic LPG cylinder prices
Delhi: Rs 1053 per cylinder
Mumbai: Rs 1052.5 per cylinder
Chennai: Rs 1068.5 per cylinder
Kolkata: Rs 1079 per cylinder
The price of domestic cylinders was earlier hiked six months ago on July 6, 2022. In four price hikes, the rates went up by Rs 153.5 combined between March and July last year.
