State Bank of India (SBI) customers may face some problems in digital transactions for few hours on Sunday (April 4). The SBI going to upgrade its internet banking platform on Sunday and this is the reason why people may face problems during net banking today evening.

SBI took to Twitter to give information about this upgrade. "We request our esteemed customers to bear with us as we strive to provide a better banking experience," tweeted SBI from its official handle.

The bank said that due to service upgradation, internet banking, YONO App, YONO Lite (YONO Lite) app and UPI facility will not be available for two hours today.

The bank informed that on April 4, service upgradation work will be done from 3.25 pm to 5.25 pm. Due to this upgrade, SBI customers will not be able to avail online facility for 2 hours. The bank has requested the customers to settle online transactions related to their bank in advance. The bank also appealed to the people not to trust any fake website similar to the name of SBI and click on https://bank.sbi for the correct information.

The SBI that cyber crooks upload fake customer care numbers in the name of SBI on Google. When a SBI customer call on these numbers, cyber crooks ask for personal information and OTP and withdraw the money from the account of the SBI customers. The bank told its customers not to rely on such fake numbers and if there is any problem, call the toll free number 1800 11 2211, 1800 425 3800 or 080 26599990 of SBI only.
