Finance Minister Anurag Singh Thakur has said that from July 1, 2021, the three installments of dearness allowance will start paying. In response to a question asked on the payment of DA, FM Thakur said that the central government has decided to pay the dearness allowance.

On July 1, dearness allowance will start again, there is news of relief for 50 lakh central employees and 65 lakh pensioners. However, any increase in dearness allowance will be applicable from July 1, that is, employees will not get any arrears of the past.

Central employees and pensioners are currently getting a 17 percent dearness allowance. Dearness allowance is increased 2 times a year, but due to Corona, no increase in DA was announced in July 2020 and January 2021. If the government announces an increase in DA, then the dearness allowance can reach 25 percent.

The Seventh Pay Commission has announced the new Pay Matrix. With the help of Pay Matrix, central employees will be able to assess the growth during the entire career at the beginning of their career. A separate Pay Matrix has been prepared for Civil Employees, Defense Forces, and Military Nursing Service (MNS). Now, based on this, the salary of the employees will be increased.
