With Mumbaikars forced to commute on bumpy roads ridden with potholes, the BMC has drawn up a list of around 1,670 roads across the city and it intends to begin repair work from October 1 onwards.

The 1,670 road repair works include 515 priority-III road works, 420 new project roads, and 744 pending road works which were halted during the monsoon. "We have sent letters to Traffic Police for obtaining an NOC to begin work," a senior officer from Roads and Traffic department said. The deadline for completion of work is May 2018.
