Vijay Pandhare, chief engineer with Maharashtra Engineering Training Academy, who was in limelight recently for his role as `whistle-blower' in the irrigation department, on Friday said the white paper submitted at the state cabinet meeting was "not satisfactory".

Pandhare had written to the chief minister Prithviraj Chavan some time ago about corruption in the irrigation department; the government yesterday came out with a white paper on the status of irrigation sector.

Talking to reporters here, Pandhare said the paper was not satisfactory, and he was going to demand its scrutiny by the government's technical committee, of which he is a member.
