MUMBAI: Two men allegedly involved in heists in Maharashtra and neighbouring Karnataka were arrested with firearms here, police said on Friday.

Sunil Takrekar (35) and Mangesh Narkar (31), who were allegedly involved in the recent dacoity in Karnataka's Nipani district, were nabbed on Thursday by the Property Cell of he police from Nagpada in South Mumbai, they said.

A sophisticated revolver, a country made revolver and five live cartridges were recovered from them, police added.
