If you visit the house of the Badadas at Vartak Nagar, a huge chocolate house is there to welcome you. Every year, the Badadas tries to do something creative with a touch of philanthropy to it.

"Since it's Christmas, we decided to make a chocolate house and it took us two days to ready it," said twenty-three-year-old Swati.

The house is made of pure chocolate of three types – dark, white and milk. During Ganesh Chaturthi, the family had made a 51kg modak. However, this house is not for profit or advertisement.

"After New Year, we are planning to distribute the chocolate among poor children. And if somebody buys it, then the proceeds will go to these children," she said, adding, "Even the modak we made was distributed among people outside the temple."
